• Manitoba’s 2026 Mega Million Choices Lottery is designed to raise funds in support of the St. Boniface Hospital and Albrechtsen Research Centre initiatives, health research and patient care.

• Only 86,600 Main lottery tickets will be offered for sale.
• The number of 50/50 Plus™ tickets that can be sold is unlimited because there is no limit to the number a customer can purchase. The 50/50 Plus™ ticket total will be determined by the number sold by the lottery’s final cut-off date or early sell-out date.
• There will be 1,425,000 Big Score Plus™ tickets will be offered for sale.

No, you must buy one of the 2026 Mega Million Choices Main ticket packages to be eligible to purchase a 50/50 Plus™ or Big Score Plus™ ticket.

Yes, 50/50 Plus™ and Big Score Plus™ tickets are available for purchase by any main ticket purchaser throughout the program. The add-on 50/50 Plus™ and Big Score Plus™ tickets will only be accepted online at purchase.stbmegamillionchoices.ca/top-up
or by phone at 1-855-256-7203 after the initial purchase and must be purchased by the ticket deadline. All add-on purchasers will require their initial order number and postal code to add-on to their order. Purchases will be in the name of the original ticket purchaser and will be mailed to the address on the original main ticket purchase.

The 50/50 Plus™ jackpot will begin at $400,000 and the jackpot winner will receive 50% of the gross revenue which will include total tickets sold for the 50/50 Plus™. The 50/50 Plus™ Minimum prize guarantee is $200,000. In addition to the jackpot draw, 60 additional draws for $500 each will take place throughout the lottery program.

• There are 60 Big Score Plus™ Regular Winners of $1000 Cash each.
• There are ten (10) Big Score Plus™ Final Winners of $12,000 each.

• You must be 18 years of age or older at time of purchase.

No, tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor.

• Yes, if you are a non-resident visiting our province you can buy a ticket in person at one of our designated outlets. All sales must take place within Manitoba.

• No, hospital lottery tickets are not tax deductible.

• No, ticket numbers are consecutive and computer-generated.

• One name only. Tickets are issued in the buyer’s name only and prizes will only be awarded to the buyer. It is the responsibility of the ticket buyer to ensure the mailing address on their ticket order form is correct. The buyer is responsible for distributing any prizes in the event of a group purchase winning.

You do not need your ticket(s) to claim your prize. Your name, address and phone number are recorded in the database along with your ticket(s) number. All winners receive a prize notification letter in the mail.

Yes. The official lottery ticket is a receipt of purchase, but participants do not need their ticket in hand to be included in the draw(s). If you have not received your ticket, there may be an error in your email or mailing address. To request a reprint of your ticket, please call (204) 235-3190 or email [email protected]

• Yes! Each ticket is eligible to win one prize in each prize category. A prize category is defined as each group of identical prizes. After each prize category draw is completed, all tickets go back in the draw for the next prize category draws.

• Yes, there will be Cash options for all prize draws. See our rules and regulations for more information.

• Draws are conducted in accordance with the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.

• All prize winners will be notified by mail as to what they have won and where/how to claim their prize(s).

  • Destination Travel Vouchers from Fareconnect.com are for travel from Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. For Travel vouchers worth less than $50,000, the full value must be booked and used within 24 weeks of prize selection. For Travel Vouchers worth more than $50,000 the full value must be booked and used within 52 weeks of prize selection. In the event travel is not possible, the cash option value will be provided to the winner. Travel insurance is included in the value of the voucher. Additional costs over the prize value are the responsibility of the winner.
  • All unclaimed prizes become property of the Foundation 90 days after the draw has been performed unless otherwise specified in these rules. We will notify winners by mail and/or by email followed by one telephone call.
  • It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the email and postal address(s) on their ticket is correct.

• If someone other than the winner is claiming a non-Cash prize on the winner’s behalf, the winner must provide written and signed authorization along with the original prize-winning letter and a copy of his/her picture identification.

• Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada.

• Members of the Board of Directors and employees of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, employees’ household members, and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the 2026 Mega Million Choices Lottery.

• Proceeds from the 2026 Mega Million Choices Lottery are used by the St. Boniface Hospital to provide quality health care and facilitate world-class health research and patient care at the St. Boniface Hospital and Albrechtsen Research Centre.

• The 2026 Mega Million Choices Lottery provides the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation with a much-needed revenue stream that allows us to fund patient care programs and research activities. The lottery is self-supporting. Ticket sales generate enough revenue to not only cover the entire cost of running the lottery (i.e. prizes, etc.,) but they also provide additional revenues that are then directed to meet the needs of the St. Boniface Hospital.

• All private information collected during running this lottery is governed by the privacy policies of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation and the Province of Manitoba.
• We do not rent, sell or trade mailing lists to anyone.
